The Company: Lanvera is a leading CCM (Customer Communications Management) outsourcing and technology company specializing in the design, production, and delivery of secure customer communications including invoices, statements, tax forms, collection letters, compliance notices and other business critical documents to any delivery channel including print, electronic and mobile platforms. Lanvera has a strong presence in the Financial Services and Insurance industries and is expanding into other vertical markets.
THE POSITION: The CIO is responsible for the strategic direction, planning, evaluation and recommendation of new technology platforms and implementation of company wide IT infrastructure including all customer delivery platforms, software development organization platforms and internal systems. This is an executive management position reporting the CEO. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in managing complex IT infrastructure environments to support a large diverse external client base and create strategic plans for growth.
Hire, train and manage internal IT staff
Design, document and implement new IT processes and procedures
Comprehensive back-up and recovery plans
Disaster Planning with periodic testing
Develop and manage advanced information security plans
Manage the design and implementation of fully redundant failover data centers
Timely delivery of system upgrades or software implementations
Manage both internal and external security audits
Manage outside consulting relationships and IT vendor agreements.
Both Client and Executive Management presentations and meetings
Required Skills and Experience:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, IS or Business. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience of successful and progressively responsible IT leadership with at least five being at a senior leadership level.
Heavy experience in an information security environment.
Technical competence in managing complex information system environments
Understanding of strategic planning processes and methodologies.
Proven competence in operational, financial and business planning, analysis and management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
