Input Streams:
Lanvera accepts virtually any print stream or data format as input, eliminating customer programming requirements.

FTP Transmissions:
Lanvera provides FTP Servers with T1 connections to the Internet for securely sending encrypted files to Lanvera - 24 x 7. Dial-up, dedicated lines, VPNs and mainframe communications are also available. Tape input is acceptable in emergencies.

Document Design:
Readability, professional image, postage, paper, print costs and customer service calls are all directly related to the design of your existing statement or invoice. Our extensive electronic form and font capabilities, front / back printing, and knowledge of merging the print and electronic worlds, allows Lanvera to improve readability, and significantly reduce costs. Good document design saves money month after month.

Document Integrity:
Document integrity means that every statement / invoice is mailed with the correct envelope contents and accurate data. Lanvera uses error checking in all programs to validate customer data and balancing totals. All documents are tracked through every phase of the production process, using a unique sequence number to identify each statement / invoice and each page of that document. Torn or damaged documents are re-generated, printed and mailed. Lanvera's pre-processing programs create bar codes allowing Pitney Bowes intelligent insertion equipment to match each document page and the correct marketing inserts insuring each customer receives only their pages with the correct inserts. Every Lanvera employee knows the importance of document integrity - we live and breathe it.

Postal Optimization:
Postage is typically 50% to 75% of total mailing costs. Therefore, all production processes, document design and forms design created by Lanvera first consider minimizing postage expense. Duplex (front / back) printing with overflow pages significantly reduces pages printed and envelope weights on multiple page statements or invoices. Reducing marketing insert paperweights can reduce postage costs. Our customer service group gives you the option to prioritize marketing inserts, allowing you to drop an insert if your mailing moves to the next postage rate. Properly prepared mail not only lowers postage expense, the mail gets delivered as quickly as possible by-passing steps in the US postal system.

Intelligent Insertion:
Savvy business-to-consumer companies use the statement or invoice to cross sell other products or make company announcements. Selective insertion increases sales by targeting the right product to the right customer and eliminates the waste of printed materials that do not apply to a particular customer. Intelligent insertion has been successfully used to separate geographical area, customer type, product type and multi-lingual inserts. Statement and invoice marketing allows a "free" ride in the envelope with the highest read rates of any form of direct marketing.

No Mails and Special Handling:
International mail, bad addresses, internal mail, and electronic-delivery only statements / invoices require automated separation from US Postal streams. Lanvera designs all programs to route exception documents to the proper platform or distribution point.

Dynamic Messaging:
Lanvera supports the import of text message files for placement on statements and invoices. We can store an unlimited number of text messages based on your customer criteria. Like selective insertion, dynamic messaging let's you personalize your documents, eliminating marketing material print costs and envelope weight. Dynamic messaging is a very low cost marketing tool with maximum exposure.

Electronic Re-Prints:
Customer Service personnel need the ability to re-generate a statement / invoice upon request, frequently with their customer on the phone. Lanvera provides electronic images (indexed PDF files) of exactly what was printed and mailed, including color. These PDF files can be downloaded and stored on your internal servers within hours of receiving your input file and long before your clients get their mailed copy. Any employee with network access and security, can query by invoice number, account number or name for quick retrieval of any document. Once retrieved the statement or bill can be e-mailed, faxed or printed to any local printer. Windows query software allows instant access to any statement or invoice for printing to a network printer, fax server or sending as an e-mail attachment.

CD Archiving:
In the past, computer generated, business critical documents were microfilmed or microfiched. Today, CD is the archive media of choice - long life, easy access from any desktop PC or server and easy to store on or off site. Lanvera offers complete CD archiving services not only for statements and invoices but all of your important data and reports. Lanvera will even accumulate your data files until a full CD can be written, savings storage costs.

e-Statements:
Statement / Invoice delivery on the Web is the future. Today, however, the majority of invoices and statements are still printed and mailed. Lanvera offers the best of both worlds creating an exact electronic image of what is printed and mailed, making it available within hours of receiving your data.

Marketing Insert Management:
Marketing inserts requires coordination between the customer, printer and Lanvera to make sure inserts are made to machine-required specifications, the right quantities are ordered and received, the data files and the intelligent inserters are properly programmed and unused inserts are handled according to your instructions. Your Lanvera account manager takes full responsibility for the success of your mailings.

Forms Management:
Lanvera takes full responsibility for purchasing, inventory, safety stocks, re-order points and quality of all forms. We demand the highest quality forms from our vendors, made to exacting standards for production. We purchase in large quantities, combining many customers on one order, minimizing inventories and maximizing cost savings for our customers.
