Senior DevOps Engineer


Lanvera is a leading CCM (Customer Communications Management) outsourcing and technology company specializing in the design, production, and delivery of secure customer communications including invoices, statements, tax forms, collection letters, compliance notices and other business critical documents to any delivery channel including print, electronic and mobile platforms. Lanvera has a strong presence in the Financial Services industry and is expanding into other vertical markets.  


The DevOps Engineer will be a key player in building out and supporting cloud infrastructure hosting Lanvera’s next-generation applications.  This role involves close collaboration with Enterprise Architects, Developers, QA, DBA’s and Infrastructure stakeholders.  Additional responsibilities include managing end-to-end Software Release.  The individual filling this role will bring experience in leading technologies and a passion for innovation.


  • Support the development, implementation, testing, and integration of the next-generation, automated, cloud-native solutions in the public cloud and on-prem (hybrid)
  • Ownership of software’s life-cycle management and including deployment and optimization in alignment with the DevOps roadmap
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to deliver containerize workloads to Azure Kubernetes cluster
  • Identify and fix bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes
  • Leverage data to drive intelligent and streamlined processes into platforms and solutions
  • Champion building automated processes across all solutions and report regularly on KPI’s
  • Refine/document software release standards/workflows and automate processes
  • Perform release management for multiple application development teams using Microsoft Azure DevOps (both on-prem and Azure Cloud)
  • Engage with the development and quality assurance teams to ensure highly efficient software delivery from inception through operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software/system related issues/tickets (prod and non-prod environments)
  • Identify and detect problems before they become outages;  recommend and implement technical solutions to address issues whether in code, configuration, or infrastructure
  • Automate everything from software deployment and configuration to monitoring, alerting, triaging and troubleshooting of software issues
  • Manage version control, release notes, etc. for multiple source code environments
  • Ensure platform availability meets SLA
  • Document and diagram complex systems including changes, updates, and best practices
  • Monitor, analyze, and report (KPI’s) performance statistics, focusing on proactive monitoring
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Work in a highly collaborative software development environment that is primarily onsite


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps
  • 5+ years Microsoft technologies (Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Visual Studio, Web apps, PowerShell scripting, MS SQL Server, IIS, SSRS, Report design)
  • 3+ years coding/scripting experience (preferred .NET – C#, MVC, XML, JavaScript, JSON)
  • Must have experience and solid understanding of Kubernetes, Dockers and VMs
  • Architect-level experience implementing and maintaining high-scale cloud infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef or Puppet)
  • In-depth containerization experience and scaling with Kubernetes
  • Experiencing administering and automating CI/CD solutions that are highly scalable across SDLC and Release management
  • Experience delivering highly available and complex systems
  • Excellent scripting skills
  • Commitment to staying current on technology and industry trends
  • Strong business aptitude and ability to quickly learn new problem domains
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment


  • Experience with ELK
  • Experience with Agile Development Practices
