As a Software Engineer Intern in a nimble environment, you make real contributions to the team and the services we offer to clients. You will be provided opportunities to perform deep analysis, design, coding, configuration, documentation, support, and installation of software. We need interns that offer energy and innovation with new technology tools and ideas.
Code and design applications based on detailed specifications of business requirements
Participate in unit, integration, and business acceptance testing of applications
Document new applications or the changes made to existing software
Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance of standards and quality
Troubleshoot software and system issues
Research, experiment, and recommend emerging technologies
Develop and build key performance indicators (KPI)
Clearly communicate status of open issues and projects to stakeholders
Make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science as a Senior or as a Master’s Degree student
Classwork or hands-on programming experience with Microsoft .NET framework, C#, and SQL Server is required
Demonstrable aptitude in analytics, problem-solving, and logic
Familiar with relational database concepts and software development life cycle methodologies
Highly developed process-oriented skills, organization and problem resolution abilities
Understanding of concepts such as REST, SOAP, and Web Services is preferred
Ability to be self-directed
Understanding of Agile concepts
Be a student of technology with a passion for researching and experimenting with new technologies
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, including good technical writing and interpersonal skills to work effectively independently and within a team environment
Lanvera offers paid internships but the intern must provide their own transportation to work on-site at the Coppell headquarters. Opportunities may be available for a permanent position post-graduation.
